Remember when Reggie Miller played for the Indiana Pacers? Reggie had rizz (or charisma, as we used to say) and a flair for the bright lights. He was sassy, feisty and defiant, standing up to Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls and the bullying New York Knicks. And, as any basketball fan living in Indiana can appreciate, Reggie could shoot the lights out. Pacers fans booed when the team drafted Miller instead of Indiana University hero Steve Alford with the 11th pick of the first round in 1987. But the boos turned to cheers when Miller became the leader of Pacers teams that lifted the franchise to new heights.
