Photo by James Gilbert/Getty Images We can’t quit this dude! May Madness is real and it’s fantastic. Just a few days after winning a national championship with the Notre Dame Men’s Lacrosse team, former Irish (and Alabama Crimson Tide) quarterback, Tyler Buchner, announces his return to the gridiron. Dear Notre Dame
From Tyler Buchner

Many times we fail to broaden our scope of each individual situation, which means we forget about the very human and very emotional element of transferring success and transferring failure. Buchner’s letter is a fantastic reminder of to fans that we don’t know everything, and we are incapable of feeling what these athlete’s are feeling throughout their time in college. Tyler is coming back to Notre Dame football as a receiver and as a walk-on. His very presence invokes the spirit of Arnaz Battle, Carlyle Holiday, and even our favorite destroyer of Drew Brees... Gary Godsey. I’m happy for Tyler and I’m happy for all of us. This is a really incredible journey/story that we get to witness, and I’m excited to see this play out.
