A former four-star prospect out of Wisconsin, Cross ended up redshirting his true freshman year in 2022 and saw action five games in 2023, but did not record any catches. With Theo Johnson now gone off to the NFL, Cross will seek to try and move up the depth chart in the tight end room and earn a little more playing time. Rocking the No. 88 jersey on the defensive side of the ball is run-on defensive tackle Sam Siafa.
