Today we spotlight Matt Detisch, an offensive lineman from Mars (Pennsylvania, not the planet). After being named Mars Area High School team MVP and an all-conference selection, Detisch walked on at Penn State in 2022. He’s made an impression on the coaching staff during the past two seasons, being named the Developmental Squad Offensive Player of the Week four times over the last two years — once as a true freshman, and three times last season. Detisch has appeared in one game thus far in his career, and seems on track to contribute more in 2024. He plans to become an accountant once his playing days are over. Only 75 more days until it’s time for Penn State Football!!
