Let’s start with Wallace-Coleman, who committed to Georgia almost two years ago at this point, making a verbal commitment to the Bulldogs on July 11, 2022. He stayed committed to Georgia until December 2023, when he decided to open things up and take a real look around. That’s when Penn State got involved a real way, hosting Wallace-Coleman for a Junior Day visit in January and having him in for an official visit this weekend. With the somewhat expected departure of Alvin Henderson to Auburn, it opened up a running back spot for Wallace-Coleman, who wasted little time in committing to Penn State. North Carolina and Michigan State were his other finalists.

On the defensive side of the ball, Anthony Poindexter added another safety to his room in Braswell “Braz” Thomas. The Cape May native has had a throwback recruitment of sorts, having just earned his (committable) Penn State offer after camping for the staff on June 2. Nowadays, not very often you see rising seniors camping for offers, but Thomas did just that and it paid off. He set up an official visit to Penn State this past weekend, and made the call for the Nittany Lions. Nebraska and West Virginia were his other finalists.
