It’s an offseason of turnover for the four-time defending national champion Oklahoma Sooners. Led by, in Patty Gasso’s words, the greatest class of seniors we’ll ever witness, OU has a number of spots to fill this offseason to prepare for 2025. Gone are Jayda Coleman, Kinzie Hansen, Tiare Jennings, Nicole May, Rylie Boone, Alyssa Brito, Alynah Torres, Kelly Maxwell, Riley Ludlam, and Karlie Keeney. Each left a mark on the Oklahoma Sooners, whether they were on the roster for just one year or, in Hansen’s case, five. Oklahoma has already matched the number of transfer portal departures with three portal additions. The Sooners have added four players that will make a huge impact in 2025 and beyond. The softball world is eagerly awaiting a decision from former Stanford star and National Player of the Year NiJaree Canady. Where Canady ends up is anyone’s guess, but the Sooners will have as good a shot as anyone.Here’s a look at some of the turnover the Sooners have faced this offseason.
