Former Arizona Wildcats safety Dane Cruikshank signs with Falcons

The former Arizona Wildcats safety has signed on with the Atlanta Falcons after completing a minicamp tryout last weekend. The Falcons announced the move Monday. Let’s Work !! #TMC https://t.co/aZZAlcN1pD— Dane Cruikshank (@Dane2Smoove) May 14, 2024 The 29-year-old has played parts of six seasons in the NFL, mostly recently appearing in two games for the Tennessee Titans in 2023. Cruikshank was released by Tennessee in November. A former fifth-round pick by the Titans in 2018, Cruikshank has spent most of his career with Tennessee with exception to the 2022 season, which he spent with the Chicago Bears. In 54 career games, Cruikshank has made 66 tackles, two pass breakup and an interception. The Chino Hills, Calif. native played three seasons at Arizona (2015-17). As a redshirt senior, he recorded 75 tackles, five pass breakups and three interceptions. Cruikshank will compete for a spot on Atlanta’s 53-man roster at training camp beginning in late July.
