Monday Night Football thread: A Vikings’ loss could shake up the NFC playoff race

Image Photo by Adam Bettcher/Getty Images Can Justin Fields and DJ Moore pull off the upset? The Chicago Bears hosted the Minnesota Vikings earlier in the year and lost 19-13. That was the game where Justin Fields suffered an injury that would sideline him for an extended period. Tyson Bagent was introduced to the NFL. He had 14 attempts and threw for 83 yards. Fields threw an interception going into score. The Vikings capitalized on that turnover and turned it into a touchdown. The Bears also had a fumble that the Vikings returned for a touchdown. Despite both of those Christmas gifts to Minnesota, the Bears still had an opportunity to win the game with just over six minutes to play. But Bagent threw an interception with 1:51 to play on Minnesota’s 35-yard line to seal the deal. Minnesota also had Kirk Cousins under center at that time. The final score was 19-13. Josh Dobbs and Fields should bring more variance, which will lead to more points. The Bears winning tonight could shake up the playoff seeding in the NFC. The Vikings are 3 to 3.5-point favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook, with the total on the game set at 43.5. The Bears have a chance to win this game if they don’t turn the ball over.
