- Mike Vrabel, Tennessee Titans: He was a linebacker from 1997-2010 with Pittsburgh, New England and Kansas City. His career was highlighted by eight seasons with the Patriots in which he won three Super Bowl rings and was an All-Pro in 2007. Like Ryans, he was a quality player.
- Frank Reich, was fired by the Carolina Panthers Monday: He was mostly a backup quarterback from 1985-98 with four teams highlighted by 10 seasons in Buffalo as Jim Kelly’s backup. He engineered a 32-point comeback in the playoffs, which was the greatest NFL comeback in any game until last year. He started 20 games in his 14-year career.
