Trask, who originally joined the Bucs in the 2021 NFL Draft out of the University of Florida, has served primarily as a backup during his tenure. In four seasons, he has appeared in just three games, completing 10 of 18 passes for 113 yards. However, his strong arm and familiarity with the system make him a valuable asset in case the unimaginable were to happen to QB1. With the Buccaneers aiming to build on recent success, including their 2021 Super Bowl win, retaining Trask provides stability at the quarterback position.
